Baklava- The best known Greek dessert made from layers of phyllo pastry brushed with butter, layered with a mixture of walnuts or almonds and spices and drizzled with home-made syrup!
Orange Baklava – Melitsa’s newest creation, it is a wonderful cross between baklava and cake with out nuts. With a creamy taste this baklava is great for people allergic to nuts!
Galaktopoureko- Light tasting custard “hugged” by phyllo pastry layers, and drizzled with home-made syrup!
Kateifi - Made from shredded pastry and a mixture of walnuts and spices, drizzled with home-made syrup!
Yianiotiko phyllo- Made from shredded pastry and a mixture of walnuts and spices, wrapped in phyllo pastry and drizzled with home-made syrup to give it a different texture!
Bouro- Made from layers of phyllo pastry brushed with butter, filled with a mixture of walnuts and spices and rolled into “cigar” shape to make it easy for eating. Drizzled with home-made syrup!
Lokoumades- Scrumptious tasting “honey balls”. Dough balls, deep fried and dipped in Melitsa’s special syrup. Eat one, you won’t want to stop!
Touloumbes – Delicious deep fried dough, dipped in homemade syrup.
Spanakopita- Home-made pastry filled with spinach, feta cheese, onions and spices and baked until golden brown! It is ready to eat for lunch or dinner along with a Greek or other salad. Spanakopita is also available frozen so you can bake it at home.
Tiropita- Home-made pastry filled with feta cheese and ricotta cheese and baked until golden brown! It is ready to eat for lunch or dinner along with a Greek or other salad. Tiropita is also available frozen so you can bake it at home.
Kreatopita (Meat pie)- Home-made pastry filled with our special mixture of ground meat and spices and baked until golden brown! It is ready to eat for lunch or dinner along with a Greek or other salad. Kreatopita is also available frozen so you can bake it at home.
Bougatsa- Home-made pastry filled with our own made from scratch cream and baked until golden brown! It is ready to enjoy as a dessert along with one of our specialty coffees or tea. Bougatsa is also available frozen so you can bake it at home.
Pastakia – Chocolate cake layered with chocolate filling, then dipped in chocolate and wrapped in colourful foil paper.
Kok – Homemade custard cream “hugged” by two soft cookies and topped with chocolate fondant.
Millefeuille - Made of several layers of puff pastry and homemade pastry cream. Sprinkled with icing sugar.
Rum Balls - A very tasty sweet treat. Balls of soft cake and chocolate goodness, flavoured with rum.
